Jeffrey Vecere, D.M.D., M.S.D., P.A. is uniquely qualified to take care of orthodontic problems. As a child, he had problems with his teeth and jaws. Fitted with braces at age 8, his orthodontic treatment continued for many years. It was this experience that stimulated his interest in dentistry and encouraged him to study orthodontics.
Dr. Vecere has practiced in Cape May County, NJ, since 1982. He received his undergraduate degree from Temple University in 1973. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1977. He completed his orthodontic residency at Temple in 1982.
A Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Vecere completed continuing education courses in periodontics, occlusion, oral pathology, as well as in-service training in casualty care, while serving as Lieutenant and Assistant Dental Officer at the United States Navy Training Center.
From 1995 to 2005 until it's closing, he volunteered dental services at The Community Dental Clinic. Dr. Vecere is a member of the American Dental Association, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeast Damon Orthodontic Study Club.
In 2005, Dr. Vecere was named in New Jersey Magazine as one of the top dentists in New Jersey, the only orthodontist on the list from Cape May County. That same year, Dr. Vecere was acknowledged by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital for his years of volunteer service at the Community Dental Health Center. In October 2006, Dr. Vecere received the Business Partnership Award from the New Jersey Council of County Vocational/Technical Schools.
Dr. Vecere grew up in Cape May Court House. He lives there with his wife, Nancy. His children, Joel and Dale, are grown and pursuing their careers. He enjoys photography, fishing and golf in his spare time.
